Toilets clean most of the time but what do you expect from a festival. Very muddy when I attended so wellies essential! It rained and showered the whole time but I loved the atmosphere and the people who camped around us we all spoke and even got help with my tent. Security on watch towers which made us all feel safer.
Is Isle of Wight Festival good for families?
The Isle of Wight Festival vibe was definitely a family friendly one. There were all ages there, usually with a whole entourage of items from camping chairs to those inflatable sofa things and picnic mats.

How do you get to the Isle of Wight Festival?
Wightlink operates two services, one from Lymington to Yarmouth (40min crossing) and the other from Portsmouth to Fishbourne (45min crossing). All you need to do is book your travel, drive to the ferry terminal, board the ferry in your car, drive off at the other side and follow the directional signage to the Festival.
